About Me

I was born and raised in New Mexico, where fitness found me and changed my life. After spending 5 years in the Pacific Northwest, I’m back to living in New Mexico and hoping to use what I’ve learned there with the fitness community of Albuquerque.

I’m recovered from a decade long eating disorder and live with chronic illness. I’m passionate about people who have gone through similar experiences, and I hope to use fitness as a tool to create strength and community for those who need it.

I love fitness, and my relationship with it has changed over the years. As I I’ve worked with different people, understood more about capitalism and diet/fitness culture, become trauma-informed and chronically ill — my approach and view of fitness has radically changed. I hope to create a safe space, where everyone is welcome, and help to breakdown the toxic standards that the fitness industry has upheld for years. I believe with my whole heart that strength is for EVERYONE and I just want to help make room.

Outside of fitness, I spend time with my wife and our pets, enjoy watching movies and critically acclaimed TV shows, listening to music (everything from folk to metal), going to concerts, and eating delicious gluten free food.
